• (x2) M3 Nyloc Nuts (4mm high)

• (x2) M3 Washers (6.8mm O/D x 3.2mm I/D)

Installation Instructions

Installation Note: We recommend using manual hand tools to prevent over-tightening. Ensure the motorcycle is switched off and parked securely on a center stand before beginning.

Step 1: Pre-Assemble the Light Pod to the Bracket

Before mounting the bracket to the motorcycle, attach your Denali T3 or T3-S Rear Light Pod to the HEX bracket.

1. Thread the light pod’s wiring cable carefully through the large routing hole in the center of the bracket.

2. Align the mounting holes of the light pod with the bracket.

3. Secure the pod using the provided (x2) M3-0.5×16 Torx Cap Head bolts and (x2) M3 nyloc nuts. Tighten until secure.

Step 2: Remove the OE Bolts

Locate the mounting area at the rear of the BMW R1300 GSA, situated between the topbox luggage rack and the rear radar panel.

1. Remove the two OE bolts that attach the rear plastic panel to the subframe.

2. Keep these bolts safe, as you will reuse them to mount the new bracket.

Step 3: Mount the Bracket Assembly to the Bike

1. Take the pre-assembled HEX bracket and align it with the empty OE mounting holes on the motorcycle.

2. Insert the OE bolts through the front face of the HEX bracket.

3. Before pushing the bolts into the motorcycle’s subframe, slide the provided (x2) M3 washers onto the exposed threads between the back of the bracket and the bike’s plastic mounting points. These washers fill the recess to ensure even pressure.

4. Thread the OE bolts into the subframe and tighten them to BMW factory torque specifications.

5. Route and connect your Denali wiring harness as per the light manufacturer’s instructions.
